If you want high-end performance work or bulletproof maintenance done right the first time in South Texas, Tim at Maximum Velocity Motorsports is the only guy you should trust. He handles everything in my garage. He completely built my wife’s heads/cam SRT Jeep and takes care of my Ram 2500 Cummins diesel without a single hitch. Just recently, he had the Jeep back in the shop to knock out regular fluids and track down a bad wheel hub—the War Wagon drives absolutely flawlessly now. His attention to detail, diagnostic skills, and honesty are unmatched. I’m already planning on bringing my '76 GMC truck and my C6 Z06 over to him next for upcoming upgrades and regular maintenance. Save yourself the headache and take your vehicles to Tim. Highly recommended!

I have a fairly heavily modded Dodge Charger SRT 8, Pro Charged, E85, electronic boost controller, etc. No fewer than 6 performance shops have taken a shot at getting the tune optimized for performance & driveability. All but two have quit on the job conceding defeat. One was competent but 200 miles away so I decided to give Tim & Matt a try. Even though I think they're more into Fords I was confident after a few conversations with Tim they would succeed. Well, they did I'm happy to say. I'd been tolerating hard starting, stalling, fault codes for over 3 years and one trip to Maximum Velocity and all are gone now. Glad to have this shop less than 15 miles from home that understands my build!

First off just want to thank these guys for taking my truck in after the disaster that the last mechanic guy left me with. It was a mess and knowing it was they still accepted it and went to work! I will definitely be coming back for my performance work in the future on any cars I have! Brought tears to my eyes after it was done! Im satisfied!

Tim did an amazing job ordering and installing my stage 2 whipple supercharger on my 2015 ford mustang gt. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car.
